It was based on a talk I'd given earlier at a CAN seminar.
Trained in art education at Alexander Mackie CAE (now Art and Design, University of NSW), Australia. Joined Art Gallery of NSW as a museum educator in 1982, delivering of educational services and producing didactic exhibitions, printed material and videos. In 2001, appointed Manager of Information, with primary responsibility for the Gallery’s website and regular publications. In 2010, appointed Senior coordinator of online programs, responsible for creating online content related to the Gallery’s education and public programs. Since 2013, freelance consultant in art and museum education. Interests include computer programming (with LiveCode), mathematics, Esperanto and the relationships between faith, the arts and everyday life.
